Ordered garage door for double garage with unusual size needs, and ordered another single garage door. I received 3 estimates before I decided on a contract. Better Built Door were $1000 less expensive than the other two! I was able to get an appointment quickly with the company owner. He came out, measured the doors, discussed door options, gave me an estimate, and gave me some information about garage doors in general. He then sent out Rob, the installer to remeasure the doors and placed the order. The double garage door had to be special ordered and when it arrived, they made an appointment with me and Rob came out and installed the doors. Both men were very professional and accountable. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Better built door is my number 1 place to call for all my garage door needs and replacement. As a local Real Estate agent I have used Better Built door and referred to many clients over the past 10 years. Always reliable and trustworthy company!?

Replaced 2 car wooden garage door with energy efficient, insulated steel door. Received 4 bids, one over the phone. Jesse was the most professional and I greatly appreciated his willingness to educate me on doors as well as answer numerous questions. He's been in industry for 20+ years. The price was mid / lower range and definitely lower than a competitor who sells the same door and who tried to "quickly" up sell me. Better Built Door had the courtesy to treat me like a customer, not a "stop by" when I have time bid. That said...we love the door. It makes the house quieter, definitely garage warmer, and looks great.

a
wonderful
Garage

shop. I
had some
panels
replaced
recently
and the
staff
was very
friendly
to work
with.
They
worked
with my
schedule
and
provided
a
reasonable
price.
When a
small
problem
came up
after
the
initial
service,

were
quick to
return

ourselves,
but we

not do
so.
We then
had them
out to
repair
the door
for us.
It went

They
removed
my two
old wood
garage
doors
and
replaced
them
with two
new
aluminum
garage
doors
with
power
openers.
All of
the
Angie's
List
rated
providers
were
quick to
respond
to my
request
for an
estimate
and all
but one
provided
me with
a
written
estimate
within 5
days.
Better
Built
Door
gave me
the best
bid.
They
came
when the
doors
were
ready
and they
installed
them in
one day.
Rob was
the
installer.
His
workmanship
was very
good.
He also
spent
time
explaining
the
operation
of the
controls
and he
gave me
the door
opener
rebate
forms
that I
needed
to get
rebates.
The new
doors
look
beautiful
and I am
sure
that
they
will add
value to
our
home..

Removed
the old
garage
door
opener
(Genie
screw
drive)
and
installed
a new
garage
door
opener
(Liftmaster
Belt
Drive).
I
purchased
the new
garage
door
opener
from the
installer
too.
Their
total
price
for the
opener
plus
installation
was
cheaper
than
purchasing
a
similar
one from
a store
and
getting
someone
to
install
it.
They
arrived
on time
(8:30am)
and
completed
the work
within
the
estimated
time -
no
surprises
and
everything
went
very
smoothly.
Looked
like
they had
done
this a
thousand
times
before
and were
very
professional.

Better
Built
Door
replaced
one
broken
garage
door
opener
with a
new one,
and
installed
a new
garage
door
opener
on the
door,
which
didn't
have
one.
The
whole
job went
really
well.
The
installers
had with
them all
different
door
openers,
so I
could
chose on
the spot
what I
wanted
and they
didn't
try to
sell me
what I
don't
need.
I
actually
insisted
on the
more
expensive
model,
because
I wanted
the
fancier
remotes.
Since
one of
the
installers
was an
apprentice,
the
other
was
explaining
to him
what to
do and I
was
deeply
impressed
by the
knowledge
and
desire
to do
the
things
right.
I have
seen
many
sloppy
contractors
trying
to do
the
things
somehow
so they
can get
out
ASAP.
This
installer
was
pushing
to get
the
things
straight,
nice,
firm and
smooth,
again
very
impressive
job.
Also the
small
advices
he was
giving
to the
apprentice
were
speaking
of the
incredible
experience
he had,
he knew
not only
how to
install
it, but
how to
do it
safest,
easiest
and
perfectly
aligned.
In
addition
to
installing
the
openers,
the
installer
fixed
(for
free)
one of
the
garage
doors,
which
was
falling
apart,
and
re-stapled
some
cables
that
were
hanging
around
from a
sloppy
job.
And that
w/o me
asking
about
it.
Lastly
the job
site was
cleaned
perfectly,
which
all by
itself
is rare
achievement
for a
contractor
in my
experience.
If I was
to do
the job
myself,
I
could've
installed
one of
the
openers,
even
though
for
probably
4x the
time.
However
I could
not have
installed
the
other,
nor
repair
the
door.
So the
installation
was
worth
the
money I
paid
for.
And now
I am
hiring
the same
company
to
change
my old
garage
doors,
w/o
looking
for
another
company,
just
because
of the
professionalism
of this
installer.

New
insulated
garage
door and
opener.
Removal
of old
one.
They did
a great
job from
start to
finish.
The bid
was
straightforward
and
probably
gave me
the most
information
of all
the
bids. I
didn't
know
that you
could
get an
energy
rebate
if you
put in
an
insulated
door
with
vinyl
siding.
BBD was
the only
one to
tell me
that.
The job
took
about 3
hours
including
install
of new
opener
and
removal
of old
door.
Cleanup
was
superb!!
Price
was
great.

You guys
are
gems!!
On
Friday
the 13th
I could
not
leave
for work
because
my
garage
door
would
not
open. I
thought
it was
the
opener,
so I
disengaged
it but
could
not lift
the
garage
door.
Called
Lowe's
(where
door was
purchased)
and got
nowhere,
the door
was out
of
warranty
and they
would
not even
send
anyone
out to
troubleshoot
for me.
They
only
thing
they
told me
was that
it was a
Wayne
Dalton
door and
I needed
a Wayne
Dalton
repair
person
to fix
it . I
got
online,
called a
couple
of
places
and
found
Better
Built
Door.
Jesse
was so
nice, he
understood
that I
needed
help and
even
sent
someone
over to
troubleshoot
at no
charge.
It was
so
refreshing
having
professional,
courteous
people
to help
me. I am
a single
woman
who
probably
gets
taken
advantage
of a lot
when it
comes to
home
repairs.
These
guy
restored
my faith
in
customer
service.
These
gentleman
were
great,
they did
a
wonderful
job and
I
encourage
you to
send
your
business
their
way.

Great
experience
We
had a
great
experience
with
Better
Built
Door.
Our
garage
spring
broke so
I
Googled
garage
door
repair
and
called
them.
Call was
answered
right
away and
he was
very
helpful.
He asked
me how
many
springs
so I
said I
think
only one
for our
2 door
garage.
He then
said oh
it's
probably
a Wayne
Dalton
door
because
they are
notorious
for only
putting
one
spring
on a
double
door. I
had
looked
at the
sticker
on my
door and
he was
right-
it was a
Wayne
Dalton
door. He
gave me
an
estimate
on the
repair
and we
were
able to
schedule
for the
next
morning.
After I
got off
the
phone, I
decided
to all
another
company
just to
compare
pricing
and got
a whole
different
experience-
put on
hold,
talked
to
appointment
scheduler
who was
not
experienced
with
garage
doors,
pricing
was
higher.
The man
I spoke
to was
our
installer.
Came as
scheduled
and was
friendly
and
installed
springs
within a
half an
hour.
Therefore,
from our
experience,
I would
highly
recommend
this
company.
