Construction

Door frames are constructed using 1-3/8″ thick finger-jointed West Coast kiln dried Hem/Fir Mortise and Tenon stiles and rails with shiplap joints at meeting rails. Door panels are constructed of 1/4″ exterior glued Luan Mahogany plywood. Windows are grid style and are attached to the door frame. All Township doors over 12 feet wide have 1/4″ Luan Mahogany plywood attached to inside of the bottom section for optimum strength and rigidity.
